Toadstool Basket Crochet Pattern

This mushroom basket is low-sew, only the flower is sewn on! The rest is all crocheted together. The cap and basket are each made in two parts - the outside and the inside (crocheted) liner - giving them added structure, durability and an extra touch of plush!

It takes me roughly 8 hours to finish this piece. Using Premier Parfait Chunky, a 4.5 mm hook, and the "yarn under" method, the finished basket with cap measures roughly 7" tall and the basket without cap measures roughly 5" tall. The cap is roughly 6.5" in diameter and the basket base is roughly 5.5" in diameter. This is subject to change with varying yarn, personal tension and hook size.

This is an intermediate level pattern, written in U.S. terminology by a right-handed crocheter. You can use any yarn weight/type you want, but remember to adjust your hook size accordingly (see pictures above for recommendations).
